Like they were property and not people they were treated like animals like they had no right to live or do what the others did. They were treated like outcasts like they did not belong. Slavery was cruel and heartless and left people with everlasting scars they were kept from knowing anything and were taught nothing about life. How was this cruel you may ask well the slaves were beaten and made do very horrible things? “There were twenty-three African American slaves. In the revolt, nine whites were shot, stabbed, or beaten to death and six were injured.”(“History of Slavery in America). The slaves were made c,7lean everything they were forced to do many things of discomfort. They also were beaten and put under a lot of stress. The women had to give up their babies and were given minimal food. The children had to work at very young ages as soon as they could do things they were put to work. The slave owners may have even taken some of the girls and used them to his benefit. They were raped, killed, starved, and beaten. They had so much done to them and these were people who did nothing to anyone and were being punished for nothing. They were tortured, whipped, hung, and flat out shot. The women were raped and there was just so many things that happened to these people and still, no one sees a problem. They were separated from their families and taken from their homes. They were starved and the women even had to give up their babies a lot of the time. So everyone knew this and just sat around and allowed it to happen. People were being sold like they were objects like their life did not have, but so much as the value put on their heads to be sold. So now that all the value is stripped away from them and these people now feel worthless like they have no place on this Earth they were torn down even more. They were the outcasts and they were treated like such. The people made sure to treat them like outsiders like just because you do not have the same beliefs as me you are someone who I do not want to converse with. Why were these people treated like animals? They were seen as the minorities and we were superior to them. They thought oh look easy target let's go in and take all their people and land. Once they see these people dressed different or did things different than what we were used to we took over. Automatically saying what they are doing is being done the wrong way and that is not how it should be done. These people did nothing to us for u to just come and move them from their homes and families. More than just moving them treating them
