The time period of 1914 to 1918 there were massive deathsrelated to technological advances of weapons. There were many technological developments that would make weapons more powerful and deadly. Technological advances would mean that winning the war would be impossible for both sides. As you might be wondering how could technological advances make winning the war more impossible to win. Well the most simple answer to this would be that the more advanced technology gets the more deadlier the weapons would also get this would mean that there would be an increase in deaths for both sides and it would mean winning the war would be harder nearly impossible to win.

Technology caused slaughter, carnage, and destruction. Both technology and World War 1 changed the world. A. Improvements in machine guns were originally developed by an American whose name was Hiram Maxim. He made the power of machine guns that more deadly. The weapons full potential was demonstrated in Somme battlefield in July 1916, when it killed and wounded almost 60,000 British soldiers in only one day. Imagine how lethal this gun is when it just killed nearly 60,000 people. This gun was at the time the best of the best to use in a battle field. Now imagine how things would be if both sides of the battlefield would have this exact same weapon on each side? This would mean millions of millions of deaths. Many things that were created were very useful at some point and time in war. Many things helped one side take control and another keep the enemy far from camps. Also many things were created just to kill many people at once. In today’s era war is much different. Why? Because war is much advanced just like weapons and transportation. One thing I learned about how war changed was that when people went to war they would walk for days just to get to enemy lines or just to help their allies.
