Lauren is stranded on a remote island in the Atlantic Ocean and she believes that her family got stranded on an island close by. Mainly because she can see and the other island like really close. She is very concerned and she wants to send a letter but she does not know how she will manage to write a letter and send it through. Luckily before her airplane crashed, they gave her a backpack full of necessities of life. She was the only one to receive it for her family unfortunately she got stranded on one island and her family on another. They provided canned food, water, but also they provided a big two-liter bottles with some cardboard, glue, exacto knife, and a guideline to what should be done with that. They also provided pen, pencils, sharpener and paper. She was perplexed to why they gave her all those materials. Lauren was smart enough to figure out that she will be able to make a water rocket with those materials. She had other ways to solve this problem. One way would be when she’s done drinking water from one the bottle, she can write a letter and insert in into the bottle drop it in the ocean just pray it gets delivered to the other side. She can also use a rope and attach the letter and try throwing to the other side so her family can get it. Also, if she was strong enough she would be able to build a small little ship. Just with sticks and stringing them together and try getting to the other island.
Before building the rocket you must have the materials needed such as two two-liter soft drink bottle because one you have to use as the pressure vessel. Also you would need a poster board/cardboard, masking tape, glue, eye protection and water rocket launcher etc. The process to build the water rocket consists of first having the two two-liter soda bottles out to the side. Afterwards attach half of another water bottle so it can be the pressure vessel of the water rocket. Then, cut out the fins for the rocket out of the cardboard
