The main point of Ed Kerwin’s presentation that I found was the most fascinating was when he stated that the water that is consumed today by the people was once used and passed through dinosaurs. This fact is really interesting because it spreads the knowledge of where our water is coming from and where it has been. In addition, it also raises a point that people should use our water responsibly because our future generation, at some point, will be using the same water that is being used right now. The water supply is used recycled and again reused through generations and generations. This fact implies that we are also using the same water that our past ancestors have used.
This idea benefits our performance-as-research project because our project is on the United States water consumption and our group will be trying to demonstrate effective water use through our presentation in comparison to how water is actually being used today; we can see how our ancestors used their water supply and how efficiently or rather inefficiently our ancestor used it and implement those techniques into our presentation. Since the water supply that we are using right now will also be used by our future generation, we need to practice efficient water usage so that our future generations will not be negatively affected. Our presentation will strive to teach the audience more effective ways to use water in our everyday lives, therefore our ways of water usage will not negatively effect our future generation since it has been established that water is reused and recycled through generations just as the water supply that the dinosaurs used is also being used today by us.
