We Hold These Truths To Be Self

“We hold these truths to be self- evident, that all men created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with inalienable right, that are among these life , liberty and pursuit of happiness -Thomas Jefferson. “Born on April 13, 1743 at Shadwell, Virginia; died on July 4, 1826 at Monticello” (Malone 2). “Jefferson is the sphere of liberty and a racist slave owner” (Malone 2). Jefferson was born in 1743 in Virginia and died in 1826 in Monticello, he had ideas of liberty. “The public school we go to the denominations of the coins we use, the liberties we take for granted…” (Malone 10). “He was the champion of the common people and a luxurious and aristocratic tastes” (Malone 10). He was a man of liberties and aristocratic ideas which were similar and founded in France. ‘First secretary of state of the nation from 1789 to 1794” (Morse 68). “Jefferson was the second vice president of the nation’ (Morse 98). Jefferson was a leader from the beginning of American independence. “He was the third president of United States from 1801 to 1809” (morse 98). “ Thomas was not only a political leader but he was an inventor, architect, musician, scientist farmer, diplomat , lawyer, surveyor, astronomer, mathematician,and a botanist”(malone 10). Jefferson was not only third president but had many other talents and hobbies. Thomas Jefferson had big inputs in the United States, but his writing shaped America.
