Team Strategy Plan Group development is made up of five (5) stages, they are: forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning. I will begin our meeting with forming. It is here everyone in our group will learn about each other by exchanging information through open communicating. This open meeting also allows each person to speak freely and keep an open mind about others backgrounds and experiences. The second stage, called storming, can sometimes create a little conflict within the group but is essential because it allows everyone to come up with a “game plan” and or ideas as to how we can attack this task successfully bases on his or her own experiences. Norming comes into play once everyone has heard each other out. It is here where the team starts to work effectively together because they have now formed some level of respect for one another’s opinions and differences. By the fourth stage, performing, our team should be fully functional and accepting of everyone else and his or her differences. By this stage they know each other’s quirks, can work together effectively and efficiently. The final stage is adjourning. It is here when the group can finally see an end to the project.
