Weird Story
When I was twelve years old, my great grandfather’s family offered to sell my grandmother a house that had been in his family for generations at an incredibly cheap price. They had a difficult time keeping it rented and did not want to deal with it anymore. My grandmother jumped at the opportunity and moved in almost immediately. It was only a matter of hours before strange things began to happen. It did not take us long to decide there was something other than us in that house. I stayed there most of the time during middle school and almost every night I would hear something coming up the staircase. The steps were old so you could hear every footstep made. My sister and I shared a room, every night we would jump up out of bed whenever we heard a noise at night. We wanted to tell our grandmother and wondered if she heard the noises too, but we didn’t bother her. The ghost appeared to get braver as time went on. We could hear the footsteps come down the hall; they were getting closer to our bedroom door with each visit. I heard the steps dare to pass the doorway of our bedroom and enter our room. I felt slightly aware of something approach the side of the bed I had my back turned to, but I was scared to look. I just kept my face in my pillow and closed my eyes tightly. I felt as though there was someone right behind me, right behind my head just looking at me. I knew one thing for sure; I was not going to turn around to look. I just wanted to fall back asleep as soon as possible.
My back felt very cold; I tried to bring the covers up tighter around my whole body. That's when I felt it. Something moved slowly on the bed behind me. I did not acknowledge it. I forced myself to stay still as if I were still asleep. I felt that if I suddenly reacted, I would see something horrible, so I did not make one sudden move. That seemed to upset whatever was behind me. I felt the bed move again, but just ever so slightly. I felt that whatever was behind me was so close to me,

In 1979, when Frank D’Amico was staying in the mansion his wife experienced something rather bizarre. It was late in the night and she was preparing to climb into her bed when she saw what looked like a dark figure standing at the foot of her bed. It seemed to be coming straight towards her in a strange gliding motion. Panicking, she found the lamp on her bedside table and turned it on. As the light flickered, it illuminated all corners of the bedroom and there was nobody there. Whatever dark figure that had sent chills down her spine had vanished as suddenly as it had appeared.…

Quite a lot of history was left within the 50 year old house. In this article, McAvoy goes into depth of the mysteries encountered at the house, such as: apparitions, mysterious noises, and furniture shaking. As many people believe the paranormal are false accusation, McAvoy’s article shows a great amount of pathos, background evidence, along with an extraordinary amount of well-structured language and composition that draws you into believing her stories as you continue to read.…

This experience has been one of the most outlandish and eerie that one could of imagined. Most things in life can be explained rationally and with little thought to the reason or logic behind them, however what I have experienced is quite the conflicting to what I would usually be inclined to think. There must be some type of phenomenon that makes one feel as though one has left the natural world. These occurrences leave no room for logic, rationalization or justification.…

It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

One night Lynse, Sophia, Macy, and I were hanging out. It was around 10 o'clock when we decided to go outside and jump on the trampoline. When we got out there we were having so much fun. We were doing flips and playing games, just doing our normal thing. After awhile all of a sudden, we all heard this noise. Right, next to Lynses house there is woods and cornfields so it made it more creepy. Then we all looked by her shed and we saw this huge shadow. We didn't know what it was but our first instinct was that it was a cat but it wasn't. Again it made this noise and we knew that it was a raccoon. We all went to grab our phones to call her dad but we forgot that we had put them under the trampoline for light since it was so light. We were all nervous to get…

One time my senses have deceived me occurred while I was awake watching TV late one night. I don’t remember dozing off, but the volume from the TV faded away and everything around me began to slow down. I heard voices and sounds of someone making photo copies from a printer. The voices were from relatives of mine who was asleep. The voices were just conversing with each other. I couldn’t see anyone all I could hear was voices. Next I remember calling out to my mom, but I couldn’t speak. I could only mouth the words “mom”. I couldn’t move as well. It was very terrifying. I snapped out of it. I thought to myself that this isn’t normal, so I had to make sense out of it. I began to research online if anyone else had experienced this before. I read that I wasn’t the only one who experienced this. I also read that what had occurred was something called sleep paralysis when I read up on this I began to correlate what I experienced and it added up for me.…

When it comes to paranormal activities or supernatural experiences, I am caught in the middle on where I believe it or not. I don’t necessarily believe in ghost but do believe in spirits. In 2004, my great grandmother died. For a whole year after her death, if I went over to her house, I would leave before it got dark because for some reason I was afraid to spend the night in her house after her death. I finally got the courage to spend the night over her house and I must admit, it was the most peaceful sleep I had ever gotten my entire life. While at her house, I could misplace something and spend a whole hour looking for it. Once I decide to give up looking for it I would say “Madear, give me back my ____” and instantly whatever I would be looking for would appear. I…

I woke up in the middle of the night to a whistling sound. I sat up and looked around, it was 2:00 in the morning. Suddenly, a book fell off of a nearby shelf all by itself. I quickly got up and went to find Viviane. It appears she is having the same ghostly experiences that I had. We wanted to get out of this creepy house, so we ran to the verandah. When we got there we saw a strand of beads hanging on the railing. I snatched them up and they began to glow. All of the sudden, we were both picked up by two ghosts, that were both women. They hovered in the air for a minute then took off, carrying us through the skies. We came to what looked like another plantation, and they dropped us in a grass clearing, and disappeared. We were so tired; we lay down and fell asleep before we could explore our new…

That night was hard: he did not sleep well and kept waking up to images and noises.…
