1. Sociocultural theorists consider all aspects when diagnosing their patients. They analyze a patient's involvement in social settings, "What kind of family structure or cultural background is the person a part of? How do other people view and react to him or her?" (Comer, 2016, p. 64). Sociocultural theorists can firmly propose that throughout Robin's entire life, he had a rough childhood and struggled with his family. From the neglectful parenting style explained, he most likely did not have much of a relationship with his parents.
