service. The two representative's of West Laurel Water District told us that the temporary water would only be needed/necessary for the time span of a couple of months, in specific until the season of fall, until some larger projects could be first addressed. After this, the West Laurel Water Association changed their tune and prolonged the promise several times and eventually stated that they "just did not know" when they would be able to deliver on their service promise. After receiving this discouraging news, we personally contacted the superintendent of the West Laurel Water Association who in turn told us he would submit a recommendation to the board to have some this grant money allocated as was originally proposed by the two water association representatives who came out to our property. After another two (2) week period, and several contact attempts on our behalf, the board decided not to allocate any grant monies for our water service needs and instead recommended that we simply pay the "reasonable" ($4,500.00) forty-five hundred dollar water service installation/meter cost, with the promise that they were not trying to "gouge" us. Needless to say, we are very disappointed with the integrity and sensibility of the West Laurel Water Assoc.
