There are different achievements I would like to accomplish in my life. For example, becoming an outstanding officer of the U.S. Army is my short-term goal. Being a leader in such an organization will be invaluable to my long-term goal, which is to run my own English academic center in Korea. And I have a firm belief that business related subjects I will obtain through the Penn State will be my guidance to reaching those goals.…
My short term goals in regards to practice and education is to obtain my BSN. I'm currently taking 3 classes and informed my Supervisor I will not be taking on any extra shifts due to school work. I also set aside specific days of the week for each class to ensure my success. After graduation this summer I plan on completing my ACLS, PALS, and stroke certification. Within the next year I would like to complete my Medical Surgical certification as well. Before starting my Masters in Nursing Informatics in May I hope to be able to follow a few Nurse Informatics Specialists so that I can see what is done on a daily basis. I've heard nothing but good things and completed some research online regarding the nursing specialty. Once I'm done…
My short-term goals consist of ways of improving myself as a student by focusing on my current and future classes. To be a better student, I must have a strategy to grasp the concepts that my classes cover. Such strategies includes managing my time well, being organized, and making sure I take care of my mental health. As a nursing major, I feel that it is my obligation to educate myself about scientific information involving the human health. In the future, I wish to use my education to inspire others, help people recover from injuries, and use it to help better the human condition.…
Being a senior this school year (2016) makes me set up my Goal to the highest level and make achieve it after graduation. But there are some long life goals I want to achieve throughout my life. My short term goal is to get top four rank in my class, get a job and get into a college. My long term goal is to become a pediatrics or OB Doctor.…
The most important goal for my future is to obtain a satisfying career. Growing up I saw how unhappy my mother was working at a job that she hated just to make enough to provide for our family. I further understood how important a satisfying career was to me when I started working the graveyard shift as a dockworker during community college. I strongly disliked almost everything about the job including the exposure to extreme temperatures, the job’s filthy nature, the long and irregular hours, and most of all because it was unfulfilling. I was miserable with my occupation but I was dependent on it because it was lucrative and provided me with a way to support myself through college. I worked fulltime at this job for two years while also being a fulltime student until I transferred to SIU. The dread that I felt toward my job made me work harder academically because I knew that someday my hard work would amount to a career that I thoroughly…
My mid- term goal for education is to go to college. I want to go to George Mason University ever since I was a kid, I never had a good reason to, I just like it. Just in case I don’t get accepted there, I want to go to Mary Mount University because my aunt goes there. I know I will be majoring in business because I will need it to be good at my future job when I grown up. I know college isn’t like high school because you have a lot more responsibilities. I want to live in a dorm as well or move in an apartment with my friends because it seems pretty fun. My mid-term goal for employment is to be in a good paying job that will pay my bills and car insurance and that will give me some experience for my future job. Maybe shadow someone that is in the field I want to be in or be an intern for them.…
My long term goal was to from Oklahoma State University with a BS in psychology. I wanted to achieve this goal while also enjoying my college experience by finding a balance between my social life and school work. The short term goals that I was able to accomplish since part I and II of the Goals Assignment were studying, going to sleep earlier (not staying up extremely late), and going home less often.…
My Goals for attending Wilmington University is to do exceptional, getting good grade and stay on top of…
My Short term goal is to graduate high school because I am in my senior year of high school and I am planning to finish it. I know that not so many people that are the same age as me are graduating from high school because they made different choices. I want to make a choice that will help me toward my future, so my first steps is to graduate high school. To achieve my short term goal, I need to have good attendance in school, be a responsible person, and be ready to learn when I am at at school. I can be responsible by doing my homework, turning it on time, managing my time to study for test so it can help me to succeed in school. When I’m in class I need to have all my materials, so I can paying attention in class and take notes. I know…
When it comes to my education my short-term goal is to finish out this school year and maintain my current GPA. I find it easier to motivate myself each day if I have set in stone grade goals in mind. My long-term education goal is to finish my Associate of Applied Business degree in spring 2017 and my Associate of Arts degree in spring of 2018. I have enough classes and credit hours to finish a second associate degree in two part-time semesters. My short term career goal is to continue where I am until I graduate and learn as much as I can from those around me. I find that the people around me at my current jobs are very intelligent and it would be wasteful of me to not learn what I can from them before I move on. My long-term career goal…
As I think about an event or experience that has influenced me in my academics and goals at CCU, I first must tell you what my goal is. My ultimate goal is to become a Christian Counselor, serving my Father well and able to support my family in that capacity. So Many events and life experiences contribute to my new found goals. Life lessons spring from relationships, and there are too many relationships to count. Family and friends, classmates, teammates and coworkers have all made an impact as my influences. Goals are made and changed with time and mine were no different, ever changing. But one day stands out as a turning point in my life, the day God revealed my purpose. Oh, I always knew He had one for me.…
Graduating with an 3.5 GPA at the age of 23 is my long-term academic goal. Even though a 3.5 GPA sounds like im not striving high enough, this goal is very important to me meanly beacause during high school i always set myself with a 2.0 GPA which is an letter C grade average. By me setting it to an 3.5 is a high limitation for me. Passing development 1 math final exam with an letter grade B is my intermediate academic goal. Although its my intermediate goal its an very important one, because in order for me to move on to math development 2 i have to pass the final with an letter grade B or A. Passing all of my classes in fall-term is my short term academic goal. By the end of fall term i expect my GPA to be an 3.0 nothing lower. I plan on working hard and studying everyday for atleast 30 minuntes to achive this goal.…
My short-term of academic goal is finishing all prerequisites for the Nursing A.S. program with good grades to get over 3.75 GPA. I am a hard worker and…
Over the next two years, I will be facing some of the biggest obstacles in my life. High school is considered some of the most important years of a student’s life. There, they decide what field they want to pursue and are taught what they need to know to succeed in their field. By the end of 11th grade, I hope to have a 3.8 GPA and have an ACT score between 34 and 36. I hope to have passed Allied health with flying colors, so that in my senior year I am able to find an internship in a great institution. I also hope to be certified in CPR so that I able to move quickly through college and school. By the end of senior year, I have set my goals that I keep a GPA of 3.8 or higher. I will work to achieving being a great President of HOSA and maintaining the other clubs I am a part of. Still, the most important part of senior year is college applications. By the end of first semester, my goal is to be a future student at the University of Michigan. Yet, I will try to apply to George Washington University, UNC Chapel Hill and University of Pennsylvania. I will apply to the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of…
Graduation for Fort LeBoeuf senior class is almost here, the stress of last minute decisions on where we want to go to school and constantly being asked what do you want to be when you done with school. I have set many goals for myself as a senior at Fort LeBoeuf for my plans after high school. I plan to attend Edinboro University for four years to major in Social Work and minor in Criminal Justice. I plan to excel in these subjects as my education is important to me. I will work hard and be the best student I can be and take every chance I can get to open doors for the future, and to make these next four years at Edinboro the best years so I can be successful in these fields. At the end of these next four years I plan to graduate and apply…
