Romeo : “Here’s to my love! (drinks poison) O true/ Apothecary/ Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.” (Shakespeare V. iii.129-131). The plan that Friar Laurence had for Romeo and Juliet was for Juliet to fake her death making it easy for Romeo and Juliet to run away and be together. However the letter the friar wrote for Romeo explaining the plan failed to get to Romeo in time to know what was going on. When Romeo arrived at the Capulet’s tomb he finds Juliet “dead” bod. Romeo drinks the poison that was left in the tomb killing himself because he did not want to live without having Juliet. When Juliet wakes up she sees Romeo’s body. Juliet : “Oh noise? Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger, This is thy sheath. There rust and let me die. (Stabs herself with Romeo’s dagger and dies). When Juliet wakes up to see Romeo is dead she is devastated that the plan had not worked out she now could not go back home and live with her parents or live without Romeo. She then stabs herself with Romeo’s dagger. When the Montagues and Capulets find the bodies of Romeo and Juliet they are heartbroken, so heartbroken Lady Montague dies from a broken heart of losing her son affecting everyone in both
