All living things, like the deer, have a specific arrangement of features that defines them as a species; also known as the order in which they naturally follow. Part of the natural consistencies of organisms is that they are all made up of cells and can respond to their environmental changes. A modern-day example of how evolution affects people would be that our resistance to common diseases and the like has increased drastically. Currently, we are outrunning malaria due to evolution. There is even a specific gene that, if you possess it, it will protect your red blood cells from the malaria parasite. Evolution is who we have to thank for more and more people being born with this gene, and others, that helps us keep a step ahead of some parasites, viruses, and disease. Living in cities may also play a part, several people living in close quarters exposes them to viruses at young ages in small doses so they can develop immunity to them.
