Do you know about the Midwest? The Midwest is known for “America’s breadbasket”. Many many wheat farms are in the Midwest. Did you know that the Midwest has some of the best soil in the world. It is also known for the Mall of America. Maybe you might see what the mid-westerns think about you.
The landforms of the Midwest are the flattest of all the regions. It has gently rolling lands,and very few trees called the central plains. prairie grasses help make the soil fertile. great plains are to the west of the central plains. Soil isn’t very fertile and there is less rainfall. Midwesterns grow some of the best fruits and veggies!.
The Missouri river is the longest river in north America. Flowing a few hundred feet away farther than the Mississippi river. The Mississippi river is important waterways to the Midwest. The climate in the Midwest isn’t like any other region in the U.S there isn’t any oceans near by to warm the land in the winter.
But it has the Great lake,Lake ontario,Lake Erie,Lake Huron,and Lake Superior. Another fact is that the Midwest is that summers are very hot. The winters are long and harsh. Much of the steel is used to make cars and trucks Detroit michigan is called “motor town” or “motown” for short. it’s the center industry of automobiles. Some cars are very cool in the midwest like the fastest car in the world.
The natural resources. In the Midwest there are the belts in the Midwest the,Wheat Belt, Corn belt,and Dairy Belt. you will find the Corn Belt in the central plains. Once the corn is harvested,it’s used for different products there is corn syrup is used in ice cream. Glue,soap,and paint also use corn.The most important source of corn is food. There are many landmarks in the Midwest. moun. Rushmore. moun. Rushmore is very popular because it has faces of the presidents of America.George washington,Abraham Lincoln,Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt. Without Washington we wouldn't be here.

Because the Midwest produces most of the grain, beef, and dairy products.most of these Ingredients are used for many foods for this region. They can make Pancakes, cornbread, caramel popcorn, chicken pot pie, and pot roast are all the foods that came from the Midwest. Popular outdoor sports are very unique in the Midwest. They go skiing, skating, Snowmobiling, and ice fishing in the winter. Go to some of the places their very fun to.

Midwest They listen to rock and roll. back in the day Elvis Presley was very famous for his rock and roll.
