What Does It Mean To You Essay
Do you know how wonderful it feels to wake up each day knowing that you are mine? Every day, I get the greatest privilege in which I get to call you mine and that privilege means the world to me.
It has been 2 years; 24 months; 104 weeks; 731 days; 17,544 hours; 1,052,896 minutes; and 63,158,400 seconds since we took our very first step into something wonderful. To be honest, the thought of being together for two years has hit me like a brick, and I am still amazed at what you do to show me you love me.
I still remember the first time we talked, it was like yesterday for me, and I remember all the times I purposely sat in the library in high school just hoping I would get to see you before first period. Just saying hi or seeing you became …show more content…
the highlight of my day, and I could not wait till I would see again. However, without the conversation about you dropping physics in April, or me asking you to prom, I would not be here writing this to you and thanking you for the best two years of my life so far.
Falling in love with you was the greatest adventure.
Within these two years, we have made a million memories, from our first hike tether, to all our crazy road trips. When I said yes to being your girlfriend, I made a promise to myself that I would do anything for you and be there through the highest of highs to the lowest lows. I love you with every ounce of my heart and I cannot wait for another year filled with great memories.
You gave me the experience of a first kiss. You taught me how to love in ways that I thought were never possible. And all I know is that you are the boy that I think about and when I see you I feel like the luckiest person. With your heart only filled with love and patience you have made me the better person I am today, and I want to thank you for that.
Thank you for being so good to me and for being so loving, patient, and kind. You are as thoughtful today as you were on our first date. Do you remember how nervous we were nervous we were around each other back then? We have come so far and I could not be any prouder of the milestones that we have achieved as a couple, and all the hurdles that have come in our way and over came. I am thankful that you are so willing to listen to me and to share with me your feelings and dreams, even your concerns and your worries.
I know that as the years pass, the love that we share will only
grow.
As crazy as it may sound, I look forward to growing old together. The thought of all the upcoming years spent by your side brings me a joy and peace that is hard to describe. I would not be half the person I am today if it were not for you next to me pushing and standing on the sidelines cheering me on. That’s what real love and commitment is all about, and that’s what I have for you.
