What Does It Mean When You Use Language To Speak Vividly?
Language is the ability to acquire and use complex systems of communication, particularly the human ability to do so. Oral style refers to how we convey messages through the spoken word. There are three key points speak appropriately, speak Cleary, speak vividly. When you speak appropriately means that you are using language that adapts to the needs, knowledge, and attitudes of your listeners and avoidant language that alienates any audience embers. When you speak clearly means that you are using words that convey clear precise meaning on the subject you are explaining to your audience. You may apply strong tools that can be used in act of speaking clearly in any speech such as, specific language, familiar terms, details, and examples. Speaking vividly is one effective way to maintain your audience interest and help them remember what you say. You can use sensory language, rhetorical figures and structures, similes, metaphor, analogies, alliteration, repetition, and personification.
How Does It Apply:
Language it’s the way you speak. When I read this chapter I remember when my mom begins to teach me words. Well honestly I don’t remember very well because I was a little girl, but my mother told that when I was little I liked to repeat everything she said. And that she always spoke to me in a way that I can understand her and that I can learn everything that she said. Language is the way we communicate with the other people. The people all around the world speak different languages. In the United States the language is English, in Venezuela is Spanish, in Spain is also Spanish, in France is French. Egypt is Arabic. Inside the language exist a dialect that is a unique form of a more general language spoken by a specific culture or co-culture. The smaller group that speak a common dialect are known as speech communities. No one dialect is better or worse than another, each of them uses different lexicons, phonologies, grammar and syntaxes. In addition, each of us uses our own personal symbol system called an idiolect, which includes our actives vocabularies and our unique sounds and pronunciation of words. The language has many characteristics, one of them it is arbitrary that means, the words are used to represent things in any language, it is not necessary a connection between the word and the meaning, it must be recognized and bring you an idea, feeling or particular object.
