When you give back to the community through service, you are truly empowering other people and organizations through kindness. You are also gaining a sense of open-mindedness through understanding different people's problems. Service does not need to be elaborate or difficult at all; simple actions can have a profound effect. Service is appreciated and respected, and it will most assuredly brighten another person's day. A community, in my mind, is a welcoming circle that gives an individual a sense of belonging. Ever since I was young, creativity was encouraged by my parents. Because of this, my imagination blossomed. I often created stories and illustrations with characters from faraway lands. Though I am no longer a child, creativity is not absent in my life.
