He had very strong opinions of the treaty, making sure to point out all of the parts that the citizens wouldn’t want and then promising not to abide by those rules if he were leader. This was right after the Great Depression so the citizens were still distraught about it so blamed most of their problems on the treaty, an example of scapegoating. All the people turned away from the treating causing them to turn towards Hitler who was against the treaty from the start. For the first 6 years of having Hitler as leaders most of the laws and rules were set out against Jews. They believed that the Jews surreptitiously controlled society and made the Germans suffer. That was what Hitler had told them and that is what some of them believed. World War II had started and there were many battles in which they made anniversaries for. There was a song made for Hitler called ‘Sieg Heil’ which meant ‘Hail Victory.’ The song was used to call Nazis to attention and to honor Hitler. It is currently illegal in Germany to even say “Sieg Heil.” Hitler used many ways to show he had power. One way was putting Jews in concentration camps and gassing them.
