Oxfam is an international non-governmental charitable organization based in UK in 1942 and working to overcome poverty and improve the living conditions of people in more than 90 countries around the world.

It is this humble university vicar in 1942 organized the first Committee for Famine Relief. Active members of the university community, not only persuaded the British government to provide humanitarian support to the blockade of Greece, but also to combine the many volunteers who responded to the call. A wave of sympathy swept the UK, from across the country flocked parcels with clothes and food, and then went to the starving citizens of Greece. It was the first missionary experience of the organization.
Oxfam perspectives are to focus both internally and externally. When talking about external factors and looking at their generic strategies, it is hard to identify it clearly. Oxfam put itself into charity industry and already has best position in it. Their generic strategy is hybrid as they both focused on cost leadership and differentiation.
