The third paragraph is where I see the most different text from Beowulf and the story of Grendel. The third paragraph immediately starts of with the phrase "I am no stranger here. Respected guest.". This phrase imminently was brought to my attention because in the story of Beowulf, Grendel is known as a monster and no friend. This creating the biggest difference in both stories. He says that he enjoys hanging out with the Danes because they make him laugh and he is able to enjoy himself. At the end of the story it shows that Grendel has been eating humans and even uses the phrase "I silently sack up my dead and withdraw to the woods.".
