“The Firefly Hunt” is solely about a woman who has reached her adulthood and is reminiscing about her childhood. Sachiko, the main character in the story, is on a train while she daydreams. She is what we call an idealist, she sees the truth in reality, and she knows that she cannot rely on. She imagines the perfect life in her head, she reminisces about when she was child and watched puppet shows about the firefly hunts.
