What Is The Mood Of A Rose
Mood: The mood in this trailer starts with feelings of sadness and loneliness as the main character, Rose, goes through the struggle with her mother keeping her home to take care of her and not letting her live her life. This is sensed through the dramatic music and pictures of Rose longing for a better life as she unhappily does whatever her mother asks her to do. This mood is continued through her vision of herself dying, but in reality, it’s her mother that dies. The music becomes even more dramatic when it reveals the thought that now that Rose’s mother has died, Rose can live her life however she’d like. Rose is a twenty-four-year-old woman with many hopes and dreams, but she has no way to achieve them. She is miserable and stuck with her mother who needs to be taken care of around the clock. When her mother dies, she finally realizes that some of the dreams that she’s always hoped for can come true. With no experience and no one to accompany her, Rose sets out on doing twenty-eight things she’s never done before. She goes through challenges of meeting new people, falling in love, and trying to trust others. Rose’s character is very determined, smart, and kind. Joe is a young man, about Rose’s age, that moves in next to Rose. Little did he know, his new neighbor would soon become the love of his life. As Rose and Joe get to know each other, Joe offers to help Rose with her list of twenty-eight wishes. Just like Rose, Joe is determined, strong, and always willing to help therefore he is everything Rose could have ever wanted. Rose’s mother is a cold-hearted mother who never like her daughter, Rose. Her actions have made Rose the unsure, unconfident woman she is today.
