What Is The Tone Of Annabel Lee

The poem I’m doing is called “Annabel Lee” by Edgar Allan Poe. The narrator in Annabel Lee is her husband and he is talking in a first person view. His tone is sad and calm. The setting is in a kingdom by the sea. The repeated literary devices in this poem are idioms. At the beginning he stated that it was a very long time ago in a kingdom by the sea, which is repetition in this, and how he knew her as a kid. It does not say Annabel’s husband’s name. I don’t think her parents liked her husband at all because the poem says that “her highborn kinsmen came and bore her away from me.”This was a very sad poem once i got to the middle because that was when I read that Annabel had passed away and her husband was very lonely. But at the end he was fine. I know this because he said he could still remember her like she never left because that's how much he loved her.
The impact they made in the poem they made is that if they didn’t love each other as much as they do now, they're probably wouldn’t be a poem to write about so it is very important. I think the point of this idiom was to express how they really feel about each other and Edgar Allan Poe did a really good job with that.
