What Kind Of Person Is Wade Wilson?
Wade Wilson is not the person to do something to help another without a sort of compensation. Wade Wilson is a mercenary that works for St. Margaret´s home for mercenaries, where he is payed to kill people that a client doesn't like for their own personal reasons, but these mercenary are strictly there to kill and get out and get payed. In the beginning of the film Wade meets a girl at work and then he ended up dating her and right after they got engaged he was diagnosed with cancer, giving him months to live. He was approached by a man offering a way to cure him and give him inhuman abilities, Wade at first turned him down but eventually changed his mind. When Wade was diagnosed with cancer, he was given only months to live but a man gave him a proposition about getting his cancer cured at first he said no but then changed his mind. so when he was brought to the lab in which he was to be cured he was tortured around the clock by Ajax, an evil genius that tortures people until they either break or are cured of their illness, but Ajax didn’t like Wade so much so he put him through a test that changed his looks for ever but still curing him. Wade was furious killing everyone that would get in his way of exacting his revenge on Ajax for what he did. In the film Wade spent 2 years trying to find Ajax, killing everyone in his company to get his revenge but the one thing he would always ask is ¨ where is Francis¨ and if they didn't tell him he would kill them and move on to the next target. This showed how Wade had forgotten the well being of the others around him because he was so consumed in revenge he only was concerned about making Ajax fix his looks and finishing him for what he did, Wade lost sight of how his actions were affecting those around him. Also while Wade was set out to get his revenge he also was just making the problem worse for himself by committing mass murder and being chased down by the X-men because of these crimes. Wade also made his problem worse when he didn’t tell his girlfriend, who thought he was dead, that he wasn’t actually dead and that he was cured of cancer at the cost of his good looks, he used form of motivation because naturally when we find something that cannot be fixed, a wound that never heals so to speak, we need to find a way to fix the
