“What would you like to learn about in this course and why are you interested in it. Look thorough the book and include the chapter number of the thing you are writing about in your paper.”

Psychology is all about the study of the mind, behavior, the way we see things etc. There are so many different areas in psychology to learn about. I know the course already started and there’s so many things that I wanted to learn, we get to them and now I understand them so much better. But there still a few subjects/ entertaining/fascinating stuff I would like to learn about examples “Memory “(module 26-module 30). I have always been curious about that topic, how amazing the brain can be, to capable to retain all those information, all those souvenirs, all those things that happened decades ago. Also obtain more information about our long term and short term memory stores, how Human memory is a complex, brain-wide process that is essential to who we are. Another interesting subject is “Psychological Disorders” (module 48 - module 52), how is diagnosed why it affect the brain, understand better the illnesses like anxiety, moods dissociative disorders and if there’s any solution for them. “Personality” this subject is very immense because there are so many different types of personalities and so many different perspectives ex: somebody can have a way to talk, a way to do something, for some people, that person is nicest person in the world but for somebody else is the complete opposite. ” Emotions, Stress and Health” (module 40- module 44) stress has so many definition, so many causes: it’s caused by your fear of not being able to live up to other people’s expectations. It’s also caused by the fear of the inability to handle the consequences of the events that are occurring, another cause we think too much, perhaps we find things about ourselves image we dislike, maybe we don't get enough human interaction, etc… would like to know more about to deal with it or how to

The proper subject matter for psychology would help to explain our past, as well as assist in predicting our future. Evolutionary psychology (EP) will be the standard someday in our lifetimes. The reason is when we look at what we were it allows us to decode our past which, will help us correctly write our future. We may be decedents of animals but that does not mean that we have to constantly act as if we are uncivilized. I have always felt that my heart has been in biology, and as an evolutionary psychologist I understand that behavior is just an adaptation of body to ensure survival. This places EP more into the scope of biology than psychology.…

The first thing I want to talk about is a little bit of the neuroscience aspect. This part of psychology is more on the scientific side, and for somereason we I started this class I did not think there would be very much talk about anatomy ans science. I had imagined that the class would be all about the things we studied in the last chapters, mood disorders and therapies. But if you want to learn about those things it only makes sense that you have to have a basic understanding of how your brain works on a biological level. So I have learned about neurons before in other classes but it is a little odd to think something so tiny has control over us. Without these tiny little things we could no exsist. They are what allow our brain and body to function. It is a little mind blowing to try and picture the millions…

At a time when every individual is feeling the pinch, it is the perfect opportunity to educate the public, about energy, energy conservation in the home and how this can reduce electricity and heating bills. For this reason the theme of the course I intend to outline will be specifically targeting Mr Joe Bloggs or Joe the plumber for our American friends.…
