While many expect bedrooms in all other countries to be similar in comparison to that of bedrooms in the United States, but with a slight difference in interior design for cultural reasons, many would be shocked to see the standard set for housing in many of the pictures portrayed in the photo-essay. In a few of the rooms such as Jaime, Joey, and Samantha’s, the average person would feel unworried to see the comfortable environments the children have; their better-end of an economic standing. Conversely, in the bedrooms of individuals such as Erlen, Dong, and Irkena, many would feel concerned about such conditions. One would expect a soon to be mother, like Erlen, would have a safe and clean dwelling to take care of her baby. Similarly, here in America, we have grown to expect a teenager like Irkena, or a 9-year-old like Dong, to have a nice bedroom with desk space to succeed in school. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many living in poverty-stricken or undeveloped regions.
