When People Succeed, It Is Because of Hard Work.Luck Has Nothing to Do with Success.
When someone didn’t have success or they didn’t achieve the result that they desire, they always thought that because they were luckless or they had a lot of bad luck. In my point of view, I think that it’s only the way we lie ourselves and we don’t want to face the facts or the true reason. I also accept that when people succeed, it is because of hard work, luck has nothing to do with it. There are some following reasons to support my idea.

First of all, success is what we have after a process we worked hard or we made an effort to achieve it. We can see that in many famous people. Behind their success, they spent all their time, strength and conscientiousness. Let take Marie Curie – the first person who won two Nobel prizes for the discover of the radioactive elements polonium and radium as an example. She spent her whole life for studying and science. To isolate a fraction of a gram of radium, she and her husband processed a ton of pitchblende. Or such as Thomas Edison – a profile inventor with 1,093 American patents. In developing the carbon microphone that became the basis of telephones, he tried hundreds of substances with “Try and error” method. Success is only made by people who assiduous in their work..

In the second place, when you want to accomplish something but you don’t want to try your best and wait for luck, eventually you will have nothing. A simple example that you want to speak English fluently or use English as your native language. But you don’t spend your time learning vocabulary, practising and speaking English as much as possible. The result that you can’t speak English even correctly and you also don’t have enough words to express your feelings. Lucky can do nothing with this. Lucky only give you a chance. However, if you don’t concentrate on your goal enough, then you can’t use that chance to have success or may be that’s only a fake success. A real success is what you have by your own ability.

In a nut shell, success is what you

Luck has always been a word that can stir up a debate on whether or not it exists. Some people believe luck exists and there’s nothing you can do to change your failure or success. Yet there are others that believe the actions you partake in to reach many opportunities will determine success or failure. Personally I agree with the following notion by Oprah Winfrey that says “luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.” My reasons for agreeing are because the actions you take will always determine your outcome and preparation is a great factor when faced with any and all opportunities.…

Every goal we list isn't just a dream, we will sacrifice everything in order to achieve it, and every obstacle we overcome, strengths our expectations in succeeding. Through every step, we question our luck, some of us fail and when they do, the only excuse they give is "bad luck". In my opinion, luck does exist but it won't play a huge roll in us if we worked hard enough.…

I think John Wooden explains the definition of success very precisely. He tells us that hard work and having enthusiasm are the most important things in pursuing our goals. We will be successful when we make sure that we have done our best to reach our goals. Another important element is that we shouldn’t give up in our life. We shouldn’t be afraid of trying. If we fail we shouldn’t be discourage, but we have to learn from our mistakes and correct them and hold it as an experience. Sometimes the goals that we have, are difficult to reach, but not impossible to pursue.…

To serve, as it does, to convince those with lack of motivation, or perhaps imagination, to remain stagnant with the hope that chance will smile upon them, the concept of luck is a farce. This is a truism that successful people understand. In fact, most successful people will state this truth almost as a proverb. For example, Oprah Winfrey has been quoted as saying, “Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.” Oprah Winfrey has the innate understanding that luck isn’t really luck at all. In fact, luck is the culmination of hard work.…

Michael Jordan once said “I’ve failed over and over and over again and that’s why I succeeded.” If you don’t even try in life you will never be successful. Another may feel as if their hard work paid off. Preparing to do something typically is done with an end goal in mind, and luck is random. An example of this is; I submitted my resume online looking for a job. I got an e-mail for a highly profitable company with the most ideal position, that I did not qualify for, yet they offered me a job. I did not prepare for the job, nor did I have the proper education, but I was lucky enough to get the offer without being prepared. If I had the proper education for the position, I wouldn't feel lucky, I would feel like the education paid off the way I intended it to. So, is the opportunity where luck comes…
