Panic was based off of the legends of the Greek God Pan.

The big connection between the tale of Pyramus and Thisbe and William Shakespeare appears in the similar story lines of Pyramus and Thisbe and Romeo and Juliet. In both stories the two lovers are unable to be with each other because of the parents wedding. The endings for both stories result in the deaths of the two lovers.

Eurydice. When Eurydice dies, Orpheus went into the underworld to try to retrieve Eurydice. Orpheus musical ability helped him convince Hades to take Eurydice back with him under one condition, never look at her the whole way back. Long story short, Orpheus looks at Eurydice just as he gets out and Eurydice is sucked back into the underworld forever. Orpheus mourns for a long time and rejects every woman who tries to get with him. One group of women were crazy people and ended up tearing Orpheus apart for rejecting them. Looks like some people are jealous.

Cadmus was a prince who found the city of Thebes.
His story of founding the city of Thebes began when he consulted an oracle. The oracle told him that he should build a city where a specific cow would lay. He followed a cow to a certain area with his companions and when the cow stopped to rest, Cadmus decided to sacrifice the cow. Needing water for this ritual, Cadmus sent his companions to a spring guarded by a sacred dragon. His companions were no match for this dragon and were slaughtered. When Cadmus learned of this, he went to kill the dragon himself. Athena then told him to get the dragon’s teeth and sow it to the ground. From the ground came fearsome warriors who fought to the death until 5 remained. These men then helped Cadmus build the city of
Thebes.

Tantalus killed his own son and served it to the gods for dinner. When they recognized what they were about to eat, the gods restored the boy and gave Tantalus severe punishment for eternity.
