Vacations were never something I took. I remember as a child my family took two vacations one was a trip to Hershey Park and the other was a trip to King’s Dominion Virginia. I remember that trip to Hershey Park really well because I really enjoyed it. We took the tour of the factory, and it smelled absolutely yummy.
The other vacation was a week’s trip to King’s Dominion; yes it was still called that back then. We left King’s Dominion, and went to Williamsburg Busch Gardens. They did not have the historical park and the colonial times park they have now was not as elaborate back then as it s now, it was mostly an amusement park with beer. That last part was to my father’s delight I might add. We actually stayed in a motel it was a lot of fun. So vacations have never been a big part of my life. I also have never really cared for the beach or water. I do not swim but I love the sun. I have always liked the beach though. My Aunts used to take me to Greenbrier, which is not a real beach, but I always had fond memories of those trips. Later in life I spent winters in Florida and loved living on the beach. I take a yearly trip to Summerville, South Carolina. I go to meet up with my Parrotlet friends. Parrotlets are mini parrots that we all own, breed, or rescue. It is a great trip. It is near Charleston. We always make it a point of going to the beach, which I love. I am starting to enjoy trips, especially those to towns near beaches. So my best friend and I have decided we want to make a trip at the end of summer. We have choices likeOcean City, or one of the cities on the eastern Shore, or Myrtle Beach. Due to finances we will likely be staying in Maryland but who knows. So my question is where my best friend and I should go to for our end of summer trip.
We first need to work out the gas pricing situation. With gas being as expensive as it is we really should keep our trip fairly short. I do not drive and really
