Who Am I Now Research Paper
Who Am I Now? Throughout my childhood I personally think that I have set a strong foundation to pursue whatever dreams I have. The people in my life that I could not live without are the people that I call my heros. These people are my mother and father, and I have strong companionship love (2011) towards them. These two have taught me everything that I need to know for my future to become successful, as well as being an all around good person during adolescence (2011). From the time that I was four years old to the time now, a lot has changed and I have learned a lot. At that stage in my life I was learning how to write, read, do mathematical problems, how to put stories together, how to count, and even learn how to make friends. The differences from that stage of my life to now is completely different and crazy to think that I do all of those things now without even thinking about it. Right now in my life I am in pre-calculus and looking back to the simple …show more content…
The foundation my mother and father have built for me and the person they made me, I think I am ready to start the next chapter of my life into college and follow my dreams. Following high school I will be attending Ohio University and majoring in Biological-Sciences, which is equivalent to Pre-Dentistry. After receiving my masters degree I am hoping that I will get accepted into Ohio State for Dental school. Following Dental school I plan to begin my commission in The Air Force after completing the ROTC program at Ohio University. I hope to then become a dentist and open my own practice anywhere I can find good business. The goal of my practice is to make it an enjoyable time to come to the dentist instead of it becoming a typical dentist office in which people dread coming

Up until this point, my life has been particularly uneventful. After my father was stationed at Fort Indian Town Gap, my family moved to the small town of Annville Pennsylvania when I was five. Being that there was not much to do in such a small farm town, I started to join clubs in middle school in order to occupy my time. Through these clubs I completely changed. I transformed into a person who is a leader and is confident in their own abilities.…

Many people in my life have prepared me for my future and have taught me how to handle any obstacle thrown my way. My parents have inspired me to never settle for anything but the best, and have taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. Both of my parents came from families without a strong financial basis or a stronghold of people who believed that they could excel; moreover, this led my parents to becoming doctors and providing support in every aspect for my sister and I. My parents’ determination has led to my belief in the veracious message: nothing is going to be handed to you because you must work to make something happen. As I have gotten older and realize the little time I have left sheltered by my parents, this idea has prepared me for the real world due to the fact that I know not to take anything for granted, but to work for what I want to accomplish in life.…

It was mostly teachers who inspired me to keep going, even though the situation at home kept getting tougher. Their words of wisdom and positive attitude towards me gave me motivation to aim for my goals. In particular, my English 2 teacher, Ms.Allbee, believed in me ever since she stepped into her new classroom. With the words of my senior AVID teacher and the compassion of Ms. Allbee, it made me realize I can be anything I wanted to be, despite of where I grew up and situations at home.…

My family in particular has never known their limits, always thinking we can find a way around any obstacles ourselves, or do anything as long as we work hard enough. They have passed that ideology down to me. Without my family continually supporting me and giving up so much of their lives, my cousins and I would not be where we are at now, living the lives we live. They have given up so much for me, so I do the same for them, putting in an abundance of effort to make my family proud in order to make all of our dreams a reality. I can see my future straight ahead, and I will never give up until I reach it. Even though that vision has evolved and shifted with each passing year, I know the possibilities are endless as long as I work hard enough, and I will never give up until I reach the dream I have worked so hard…

Growing up, I had no idea what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My whole world evolved around sports, but I knew the chances of making money playing a sport were slim. My father owns a pipeline business, and my mom owns a boutique shop so I knew I would go into a business management plan. At ten years old, my father always took me to work with him on the weekends. That was one of the best things I got; young experience is what I needed. He taught me to operate heave machinery, mix concrete, work on pipelines; moreover, he taught me what it takes to be a self-mannered, respectful employee. Since then, I knew what to do with my life and I am very lucky to have such inspirational parents to motivate me for my goal in life. I look up to them in so many ways and appreciate all they have done for my siblings and I. Hopefully, I can provide for my family like my father has for ours.…
