There is many to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet, but some people have a more immense impact than others. The author William Shakespeare wrote the Play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet during 1591 and 1596, which impacted the language of play due to how people spoke during that time. Some of the main characters that Shakespeare decide included in his play are Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio, and the Friar. The play takes place in Verona, Italy where two young teens, from two families who despise each other fall in love, but the conflict between the two families separates them. The two teens Romeo and Juliet does whatever it takes to be with one another and ends badly for everyone. While Juliet is alone in her room after the Friar gives her the potion she says to herself, “Seeking out Romeo… Romeo, Romeo, Romeo, I drink to thee”. The flaw that Juliet has that ends up getting herself killed is the fact that she is blinded by her love for Romeo. Juliet does not realize what her actions are doing to the other around her and even for herself. Juliet jumps straight to conclusion without thinking of the consequences that may appear.
