I first met him when I was studying in the second grade. As being stubborn and lazy child at that time, I studied in the class for naughty students and no teacher could put up with our behaviours more than one week. One day, the school administrator assigned a male teacher to take over my class temporarily. At first,I felt weird because he possessed the name of a lady-Hanh . As intended to put the class into the state of disorder, I tried to shout out loud his name as much as possible. The result turned out to be his anger, he asked me to repeat what I had talked with a harsh voice but I mumbled: “Nothing but home truth” and I neglected as I did not hear anything. Being in bad temper, he used all his power to swing a heavy stick into my arm. ‘You are as stubborn as a mule’ he shouted angrily. Of course I felt hurt and immediately run out of the class with a thoughtless belief that he had no right to punish me like that.
In the afternoon, I went swimming to escape myself from distress. Suddenly, a cramp happened to me and I tried to ask for help but no one heard. While I was becoming hopeless, Mr Hanh appeared and saved me from drowning. It was a miracle. If he had not appeared on time, I would not be here to share this story. From that accident, the relationship between Mr Hanh and me was tightened. He gave me some pieces of advice to improve my mind, he explained lessons and taught me a lot. Gradually, I had a passion for Maths and spent more time studying as well as helping my family.
“You are as stubborn as a mule”, surely it will never be forgotten for the rest of my life. I have learned the way to better
