My first reason is in Act 2, scene 2, line 14, page 54. Macbeth tells Lady Macbeth, “ I have done the deed. Didst thou not hear a noise?” This text helps support my opinion because Macbeth is telling Lady Macbeth that he has killed the king! My second reason is in Act 3, scene 3, line 24, page 104. It says, “ Well let’s away and say how much is done.” What this is saying is that the first murderer is telling the other murderers that they need to go tell Macbeth what they have accomplished. Macbeth ordered 3 people to go kill Banquo and his son, so Macbeth wouldn’t get caught. Last, My third reason is in Act 4, scene 3, lines 214 and 219-220, pages 172 and 174. It says, “Wife, children, servants, all that could be found.” Also on page 174, “Let’s make us med’cines of our great revenge, to cure this deadly grief.” The first text is about how Ross is telling Macduff that Macbeth has killed his family. The second text is about how Macduff is so angry with Macbeth because of what he has done. Macbeth is responsible because he is the one that killed Macduff’s family, and his servants. No one else
