Love plays a vital role in one’s life and sometimes it leads to the destruction of families and fortunes. Love conquers all. It is like solving a tough puzzle. For true love, one tries to overcome all the obstacles and always wants to live together. In this tragedy of “Romeo and Juliet” by “William Shakespeare”, one can see that love and fate plays an important role throughout the story. Also, there are other factors that leads to the demise of Romeo and Juliet. All the characters involved in this play significantly contributed to the deaths of the star-crossed lovers’. Often, prudent and always tries to help people who are in need. Everybody in this play trusts Friar Lawrence completely and possess respect. Besides that, throughout this mishap, all the characters approach him for advice and even solutions. He was present in every event that occurred in the streets of Verona and finally ended up being the most responsible person for the lovers death. Although Friar Lawrence is a matured guy, regrettably with his injudicious plans and actions, he misled the young couples and bought a situation that headed the lovers to die. When Romeo apprised that he loved Juliet (rich daughter of the Capulets) madly, and totally forgot about Rosaline, he should have terminated then and there itself. He knew that they were very young to decide and that they took a quick resolution to get married. Instead of condemning, he agreed to marry them secretly and assumed that their wedding will put an end to the feud between the two families. She treats Juliet as her own daughter because she has no children. Even Juliet was closer to the Nurse than her mother. The Nurse is a crass and very affectionate. The Nurse always fickle and believes in love. Juliet trusted the Nurse most than her mother and always asked her for any advice or help. As the play proceeds, Juliet met Romeo and they were in love with each other. Well, she first approached the nurse and inquired about him. The Nurse told her that Romeo was a Montague and that made Juliet lament. The Nurse wanted Juliet to marry a handsome person with all the good qualities. But Juliet’s thoughts and feelings drives the Nurse inscrutable. Eventually the Nurse becomes their messenger. In the middle of the play, Juliet advances the Nurse for help and the Nurse says ”Faith, here it is. Romeo is banish’d; and all the world to nothing,That he dares ne’er come back challenge you; Or, if he do, needs must be by stealth./Then, since the case so stands as now it doth, I think it best you married with the county… I think you are happy in this second match, For it excels your first. Or if it did not, your first is dead... As living here and you no use of him”(3.5.214-226).With these statements, the Nurse is trying to reproach Juliet and wants her to forget Romeo.
