Why Are We Born Naturally Evil
Are we born naturally good or naturally evil? Are our true intentions good or bad? There are many people out there that just want to help the planet and everyone on it, and there are some that will do whatever they want whether it negatively affects others or not. Though we’re all a little selfish inside, we’re still naturally good people deep down. No one is born a bad person even if you were raised around bad people.

It may seem like we’re born evil because of how our world is today, but thousands of years ago there wasn’t that much crime. Things such as anger and sadness can lead to bad decisions. In most cases, people commit crimes because they are upset with something. They most likely didn’t have feelings like this when they were a

“Evil” – defined by Dictionary.com as “morally wrong or bad; immoral; harmful; characterized by misfortune or suffering” (“Evil”) – is a very complicated topic few people can fully agree on. The view on whether people are born evil or are raised to be evil is highly subjective. What some people consider to be evil, others might believe to be valiant. Although researchers have been exploring many different viewpoints to find the correct answer to this controversy, their results insinuate that evil is found in the eye of the beholder. However, with some of the world’s greatest reprobates nominated for Nobel Peace Prizes and others been given the key to a city, it can be derived that a person develops evil impulses…

I believe that people are born neither inherently good nor evil, but are created as blank slates to be constructed by childhood impressions and other life experiences. In my opinion, the concepts of good and bad are impossible to be natural instinct. Rather, these ideas are mainly formed by the guidance and direction from one’s parents, and also by observation of the environment, and how others handle specific interactions.…

People are not just born evil. There are certain factors that contribute to this type of outcome in a person. There is a usually history of abuse or neglect. They felt unloved, or even unworthy of love. There is also the possibility of there being a chemical imbalance, causing abnormal brain functions, thus, making someone incapable of certain human emotions such as empathy, compassion, or pity. Other things that can cause someone to ‘snap ' could be sexual inadequacy, maternal smothering, paternal abuse, and narcissistic borderline personality disorder (a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy).…

By the year 1931, one in three New Yorkers were unemployed. According to Oren Harman in his book “ The Price of Altruism” words “…roughly 1.6 on some form of relief.” New York hit rock bottom when it peaks the most between 1932 and 1933. The Great Depression was an economic crash lasting from 1929 to 1939, it didn’t have much effect on the rashly rich, but it took its tolls on everyone else, especially New Yorkers who had the hell of it.…

Is man inherently evil? Many people have different answers to this question some do not believe that there is such a thing as good or evil. What is good and evil? Is evil a part of every human being from the moment he is on this planet? I think that man himself chooses in which direction to go to and the environment influences his or her decisions. Many think that you are not inherently evil or good it is you and the environment that makes you evil or good. William Golding in his book is trying to prove and say through his book that people are evil by nature. If a person does not see, what he has done is wrong or evil than you cannot consider this evil or wrongdoing. Evil is when a person knows that what he is doing is wrong but he wants and does it anyway.…

Even though there are good people with decency and morals, most everyday acts of kindness are not given attention unless they occur after a disaster of some kind. That is why I disregard good as being the overall quality. We have to teach young children not to act bad or indecent, so by birth are we are evil in nature? However, this idea contradicts the idea that if man were naive and innocent then he would not be evil in nature. As a child we are often not blamed for our wrongdoing because ‘we don’t know any better’, but if we didn’t know any better would we not have done it all? Even in other species the youngest of the species has to be taught how to act, but after a certain point man has For some people it takes an act of evil to show compassion. Those people who are not evil or have no bad intentions, shouldn’t they also be blamed for knowing of the rest of man is evil and doing nothing about it. Or should they be blamed for selfish motives when they do help, they only help because they don’t want it to happen to them. They don’t care about the devastation that happens to the people they’re ‘helping’. You cannot say for sure that a person is evil until you see their intentions against other people. Most people never show their hand and others do, such as figureheads, terrorist groups, radical politicians,…

There are several theories that are used to explain why people commit crimes. These theories cover a range of scientific studies that still continue to be used in crime studies today. By using these theories and information gathered, an explanation of the criminal behaviours will be examined and explained relating to each supporting theories. The traditional explanations for crime are nature vs. nurture debate and the ideas relating to any possible biological reasons that turns someone into a criminal. Are some people really just ‘born bad?’ or are there other, social reasons for criminal behaviour? In this essay I will look at both sides of the argument, and offer an insight into the reasons behind such criminal behaviours. The Classical theory argued that everyone is entitled to free will and rational choice but in some circumstances criminals can be motivated by psychological and social forces even if there’s a consequence as a result (Curran, 2001).…

    Evil a Learned Behavior

Humans are fundamentally good, and then are corrupted by their environment. It's because of evolutionary purposes. Every organism wants their species to continue (if they don't, they die off and aren't here any more). The same goes for us. If our species started off fundamentally evil, none of us would be here right now. People would've killed each other off instead of working together in communities to survive. It's the same as any other species that has made it this far. All characters, wherever they come from, may not be born evil, but they live up to this evil behavior eventually. According to Freudian theory, violence is a basic human instinct, described as a redirection of our self-destructive impulses…

Is Man inherently good or evil? This is a question that many philosophers, psychologists, and scientists have questioned for centuries. We have learned from Webster that good is morally excellent, virtuous, and pious. He also states that evil is the total opposite. Evil is morally wrong or bad and immorally wicked. I believe that man is inherently evil simply because when a baby is born the nature of evil is already in existence. This only indicates that humans don’t have to be taught to do wrong. (As human beings we have the most extraordinary capacity for evil, but we as a people also have an…

Scientists and psychologists have different opinions regarding this. Some scientists see that people are born evil while others believe that people are naturally good. The Christianity concept of the original sin states that people are born with a normal psychological condition which is the desire for doing bad things. On the other hand, according to Islam, people are born upon Fitra. There is much research in the scientific and psychology fields that support the both opinions. Nevertheless, it seems that there is more convincing evidence for the opinion that says people are born good. “Society corrupted man; however, people were born good at birth”. (Cameron, 2013). Being good is one’s nature before getting influenced by the outside sources. We are all born good. However, we might develop tendencies for being evil depending on the surrounding circumstances. We come pure in this life; nevertheless, we learn how to be bad. Throughout the life, we learn and acquire evil and violence. We learn all the amoral qualities. We learn greed, selfishness, Gossiping, hatred, lie, and stinginess. It is impossible to be born with these qualities. There is no way to carry such genes in our blood. Human being is pure. However, society and environment contaminates us…
