The Industrial Revolution began in England not for one reason but because of a number of reasons that proliferated the occurrence. For starters the country had a ready supply of coal and iron and there were roads and canals that helped to create a unified internal market. In Russia on the other hand the Industrial Revolution resulted in dishevel and violent social revolution. Another difference is how the industrial revolution came to be in these two nations. The people of the United States decided they wanted new opportunities whereas in Russia the state decided that the people needed to compete with other European nations.

Although Latin America became urbanized it never reach a point of industrial revolution because of a decade long revolution of its own centered in the Mexico area. Among other thing was its social structure that primarily composed of an impoverish lower class, economically the landowners and cattlemen had no desire to invest in manufacturing because their profits from exporting agriculture product was already high, and the domestic manufacturing would have to compete with what was already on the market that would only mean cheaper labor and higher quality items.
