Why Did Cuba Gain Their Independence
How did Cuba gain their independence? Cuba’s independence began when the U.S.S Maine ( passing Havana ) exploded. Making the U.S. believe that spain did it and declared The Spanish-American war. This war led to Theodore Roosevelt ( leader of the rough riders ) to run for president. The u.s. Forced spain to leave their new territories. Then cuba became u.s. Territory with their own independence.

How does Cuba’s government work? Cuba is a totalitarian communist U.S. Territory lead by one party called the “Cuban Communist”. Fidel Castro is the head The Cuban Communist with his brother Raul Castro as his Vice-President. This party is made of 25 people chosen by the people of cuba.
