Looking back to the day my family and I was evicted from our home. I can still hear the words coming out of the landlord's mouth "You are a bunch of freeloaders". We haven't paid rent in 3 months. He looked back and shook his head no. I told him he needed someone that he can trust and that has his back. Because whatever he was about to do was going to be some insane. I ran to my room to put on some shoes. Right then and there I prayed to God. I asked him if he could protect us from anything bad that would be the effect from what we were about to do.
My dad yelled and said what's taking so long back there. I jumped up and ran to get in the truck. We took off as soon as we got down the street I noticed we only had a half of tank of gas left in the truck. So whatever we were going to do it had to be quick and fast. My dad finally spoke he told me "Whatever goes down today never ever tell my mom". I looked at him and said no matter what I got your back. We drove down all through town just looking. Like I actually mean we were just looking at things.
I thought to myself he hasn't told me how much money he needs to come up with yet. So I asked him "Dad how much money we need to stay in our house". I could just tell it was going to be a lot. He finally said it "$4,500 dollars". I was so shocked it would be impossible for a person to come up with that kind of money in one day. So we kept driving, I noticed that a lot of the house we were riding by were just being
