The Jews were forced on a train car to get to the horrible and miserable concentration camps. Families were shoved onto the train car, with 90 other Jews, against their will. The train cars were only able to hold about 8 horses, but the Nazis didn’t care. Many people died before even arriving, from various things like starvation, heart attack, and disease. There were different camps for different things. Some were only for forced labor, while others were “killing centers”. Auschwitz, specifically, had three camps for forced labor, but one of those camps also doubled as a killing center for some time. The Nazis first idea was to transport the Jews and then throw them into a gas chamber right when they got there. This, however, did not work well.
