2. Wampanoag decide to help the Mayflower pilgrims at first because the native people were getting sick and starving and knew that the Europeans were not out to cause trouble since they had brought their women and children with them. By the end of the winter Wampanoag noticed that the Pilgrims had lost 45 out of 112 people. Which prompted Massasoit to ally with the English because he thought that he could get anything that he wanted from them. He thought that if he allied with them he could control them, and he knew that if they needed to be defended, they had the military experience to defend them.
3. The English cautious
about contact with the Indians because they thought they would bring other beliefs into their lives. The pilgrims were dressing like Indians, using some of their words. They were making too much contacted with the Indians which made them nervous.

12. King Philip found himself against the wall. He knew that if he did not stand up, he was going to be overrun by the English. He had two choices to give all the Indians weapons up or prepare for war. They were not longer treated as equal and allies.
13. Ultimately, King Philip was shot and killed, and dismembered. After being dismembered his body was They dismember his body was given to different colony’s as a trophy.
14. Philip son was only nine years old when he was capture and put in a jail then sold to the slaves in the west.
15. The relationships that change between the English and Native were that, the English wanted the native to convert to Christianity. The English were taking over the Native lands and were not paying enough for it. What caused the relationship to fall apart was that they were no longer treated equal. They were treated like if they were 2nd to come into the land. They had some Natives that turn in to Christianity and move them into prayer homes among them. They would also cut their hair and not allow them to pray to their gods. The English would use the Native like slaves. The relationship falls apart because they had no respect for the Native. They even had them chose English names. The Native were so nice to help them in the beginning and they forgot about that. They pay them by killing their children and people.
