Did animals play a part in World War I? yes, they did. Thankfully, pets helped raise the low morale of the soldiers. Even the humble pigeon, who delivered messages, were very important. They also had gas masks made for them. Animals helped a lot in World War I.
World War I changed the way we used airplanes. Naturally, no one though airplanes,
which were new and risky, would contribute a big role in the war. But after awhile they were vastly improved; such as much better fire power, capability to carry bombs, and a stronger frame. They have added much newer technology since World War I.
What is a Zeppelin? They are essentially blimps that were used for bombing, which were used during WWI. They have a bad habit of exploding into a ball of fire when shot. Sadly, they cannot fly too high or you will freeze to death or suffocate. These are a few reasons why they gave up o them in 1917. Zeppelins were balloons used in WWI.
The biggest US Navy threat were German submarines. Two ways to destroy or damage a surface submarine, which is vulnerable, was to quickly ram it or shoot it. Unfortunately, the attacking ship was often damaged. That is why the German submarines were hard to battle.
How did WWI end? Part of the reason was because Germany was low on precious food and supplies for their soldiers. Plus, the allies were forcing them further into Germany, which discouraged them. People back at home in Germany were getting tired of the war. So Germany decided to sign an armistice. These are a few of the reasons how the war ended.
