Immigration is a sensetive subject in America with many opposing opinions. One thing that is for certain is that life for immigrants is not easy. The main reason for immigration from other countries is work. While work itself is difficult to find by immigrants, the work will usually be hard as well. A prime example would be field work such as construction and fruit/ vegestable harvesting. Both these jobs are phisicly challenging with long hours of sun expousure and other challenges. yet the majority is foreign. The pay is not very well for the amount of labor provided.

I can provide several examples myself with personal experiences. I have a cousin who’s parents are also immigrants like my own. My cousins parents came to America with the same goal as other immigrants wich is to find work. Instead of looking for work my cousins parents created work by opening their own shop. This shop is an example of immigrant culture giving america diversity. The shop has an assortment of mexican candy, mexican breads and meat and other foods. The store also gave other immigrants work like my cousins and her brothers and sisters. That is one of several examples I can give of Immigrants creating jobs for

In truth with the immigrants coming they will open more job opportunities for everyone. The immigrants could open more businesses, allow for expansion in certain businesses to get more jobs. Another myth the anti immigrant groups will try to sell people is immigrants drain America’s social services. The Urban Institute recently took data which showed immigrants pay more of their taxes than they take out of any of the social services. This is due to many reasons like fear of getting any infractions for deportation or because if they do not pay taxes they could have their paychecks withheld.…

Despite this, we must not lose sight of the fact that immigrants provide America with many advantages. The richness and diversity of their cultures, for example. Also, their willingness to work hard and take on certain jobs that Americans would otherwise refuse - at least at the same wage level. They provide a supply of willing labor for those industries which are in need. Americans benefit from the goods and services that their inexpensive labor allows.…

I agree that having a diverse group of worker brings many benefits. Immigrant works help both the economy they are working in and the economy they come from. The immigrants will work for less which helps companies spend money on improvement for their companies. The workers then send some of the money they make back to their family in their home country which helps stimulate that economy.…

Some people may believe that immigration benefits the country. People may think that as there would be more workforces, this is because as long as the job is being completed it doesn’t matter who does it. People who are starting up small businesses would believe immigration benefits our country. This would be thought as the immigration would be working on zero contract, meaning they would be working long hours and be paid a low wage, by doing this the business would expand faster. Some people may…

Immigration is good for the economy. Despite all the fuss about immigrants stealing jobs, immigration actually provides a benefit to the economy, whether those immigrants crossed the border legally or not. Why you ask? Because of what economists call the specialization of labor. As Jonathan Hoenig, proprietor of the Capitalist Pig blog, explains: “The fact that foreigners are eager to pick crops, clean houses, bus tables and produce allows more of us to afford cheaper food and better services, affording us even more wealth to enjoy and invest. It’s not the immigrants, but the taxes, spending and entitlements (most of which immigrants don’t even receive) that have drained the economy dry.”…

I think immigrants play an important role in America. They help build and strengthen America's economy. Immigrants help the economy by creating their own jobs. They work in all types of occupations. They are teachers, scientists, engineers, and construction workers. Every immigrant creates 1.2 local jobs for local workers, raises wages for native workers, and attracts native-born workers from elsewhere in the country. Overall, immigrants improve economy by creating their own business or working in difficult construction places. In addition to improving America’s economy, immigrants make the country more open-minded to new possibilities. America have diverse populations with different beliefs and culture. This means that opinions aren't limited…

They perform the necessary high labor and menial jobs that many native-born Americans are unwilling to do. According to the March 6th 2007 issue of Conservative Politics: U.S. , President George W. Bush was quoted as saying, "There are people doing jobs Americans will not do. Many people who have come into our country are helping our economy grow. That is just a fact of life" (Illegal Aliens: Helpful or Harmful to America? 1). Increasingly fewer educated, native-born American workers are unwilling or unable to perform the strenuous jobs that don 't even require a high school diploma…but immigrants are. According to an immigration policy brief written by Rob Paral of the American Immigration Law Foundation, it is evident that immigrants come here to fill available jobs by the "fact that, as of 2005, 94% of adult male undocumented immigrants and 86% of adult male legal immigrants were in the labor force. Immigrants are already an integral part of U.S. society and an indispensable part of the U.S. labor force" (Paral 1). Illegal immigrants also contribute to the United States economy by purchasing American goods and services. They purchase houses, automobiles, as well as, patronize the local supermarkets and Mom and Pop stores. Francine Lipman of the Chapman University, School of Law strongly believes that "undocumented immigrants contribute to the U.S. economy through their investments and consumption of goods and services; filling of millions of essential worker positions resulting in subsidiary job creation, increased productivity and lower costs of goods and services" (Lipman 1). Lower consumer prices are one of the many contributions that immigrants make to our economy. Annually, illegal immigrants contribute at least 300 billion dollars to the U.S. gross national product (Immigrant Workers: Making Valuable Contributions to Our Communities and Our Economy 1). Even though there are critics who are…

Immigration by definition means arrival of settlers in new country. Leaving ones country in hopes of finding a new country in which one can settle and make a new home is what makes immigration an integral part of human nature. Immigration in biology leads to genetic variation and higher survival levels. When one talks of immigration, now concerns of economy and living arrangements are the first thoughts that pop in the minds of many. Social and economical positions are extremely intertwined with the concept of immigration. Immigration leads to higher rates of competition in the economy which leads for businesses to have higher output levels, in turn giving room for more workers to be hired. Immigration also leads to more social diversity. More cultures are placed into areas with hundreds if not thousands of other cultures and soon the society becomes greatly diverse. Looking into the past, immigrant workers were responsible for the construction of this nation. This is indeed a nation built off the sweat of immigrant workers from the world over. Immigrants have given enough to this nation to be recognized as key aspects of this nation’s past. Through the process of immigration this nation has grown and expanded. Immigration has been a powerful worker in the creation of this nation and will be discussed as such.…
