First off, nobody would want to go into the rescue services field anymore. Taking away even one of these vital rescue services could create an immense ripple effect. For instance, removing one rescue service would cause there to be no need for any others. Lifeguards, policemen, firemen, and more would all be useless jobs. You would have to be oblivious to not see the catastrophic outcome of withdrawing rescue services. Also, many jobs would be affected and people could lose their occupation. “Those deviations tend to have a ripple effect throughout the economy as a whole.”-Tom Clancy.
Next, the deaths worldwide could increase by hundreds. Without rescue services, much more people would die from certain causes. Deaths in water, on mountains, and in many places could increase. If somebody slipped or a technical issue occurred, you cannot hold people responsible. The situation someone is in, or was in, is not able to be controlled like a video game. People should learn from their mistakes, and should not be shunned for them. “We all make mistakes. Don’t let that be the reason you give up on somebody.” Even though rescue services can put themselves at risk to help others, rescue service members are trained. People in rescue services agree to risk their lives for others, and are specially trained to do so. They accept these dangers to help
