Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. Showing respect can be to a parent, friend, or roommate. Showing respect not only gives you a mature outlook, but also gives you experience for future encounters with other people. Respect is supposed to be shown to everyone even if you are complete strangers. In today’s world, not many people are shown respect for reasons that are not relevant to who they are.
