Do Professional athletes get paid too much? Yes, they do, Professional athletes get paid over 1 million dollars a year while the normal household salary is only fifty thousand dollars a year. This means that someone who just plays baseball, basketball, football, makes more than an office manager who gets paid a salary ranging from $30,041 to $63,184.
