From news updates to magazine headlines, this topic is still relevant today. There are many supporting arguments for this topic. First, college graduates make more money than someone who hasn't graduated or gone to college. College graduates makes twice as more as someone with high school diploma. Secondly, more jobs today require a college degree. Only 34% of American jobs require a high school diploma. Leaving 66% of jobs to college graduates. Even though there are many supporting arguments to this issue, there are also many counter arguments. For example, the number one counter argument for this issue is student loan debt is ruining for college students. As of June 2016, 42 million American students owed $1.3 trillion in student debt. Most concerns for college students is that they need a good paying job after college to pay back their school debt. I also hope that my research can change the minds of the younger audience, and give them aspiration to go after their dreams. Understanding that school can be boring at times, but wishing they see the bigger picture.
