Having experience can help certain teens through difficult situations. Teenagers benefit by having more time because they could see how to deal with a situation. If a teen got involved in a wreck most 16 year-olds wouldn't know what to do, so if they were older and had more experience it would help the whole situation. Not only would this lead to less accidents, it would also lead to many situations being solved quicker with less complication.
Changing the age will not only benefit with experience, it will also prevent less crashes and accidents. Teens would have experience and they would learn more information about driving. I have seen certain things involving crashes that said more than half of the crashes that happen involve a teen. I just believe certain teenagers don’t take driving as serious and dangerous as it is. More teens should be aware of how dangerous driving is and how it should be taken seriously. Although I believe that teens would benefit from changing the age, many people believe 16 is a great age to start.
