Why Do Women Really Need A Feminist Revolution?

The American revolution, a social revolution , is similar to the need for a feminist revolution because the american revolution was the colonies revolting against the country that owned them because they felt they didn't have a say in how they were controlled by the higher powers and the Feminist “revolution” would be the group of women who are oppressed by men and feel that they also don't get to say how they are controlled by men, which is the “higher power”.

In all of history men and women have not been equal, even in the beginning of mankind men have been the dominant gender and to this day still are. Men are favored more in jobs, media, appearance and sports, just to name a few. A revolution (just like the American Revolution) is needed because women are oppressed and can't do the same thing as men because of their gender. This revolution would change their status because they would be able to “dethrone” the male dominance and make them equal so their both considered the same thing, genders and treated equal.
One example of this is present in the sport of basketball. The NBA is the top basketball organization in the world where “the world's best play” this is a men's only league, The WNBA was created a long time after and is not no where near the NBA level in terms of coverage and popularity. Another example is in the sport of football. The NFL is a world famous football league that is watched by millions across the world and has millions of fans. For the woman though, there isn’t many leagues for women and the most popular one is the “Legends football League” where women play under modified rules and compete in lingerie. This is sexism at its finest because the only league for women football that has followers and is sports covered is a game where the rules aren't equal and woman are used as objects to attract the people that watch
