Why Do You Want To Be Famous?
Tenley Tenley from the moment she was born has always wanted to be famous for doing something amazing. Since the moment she was she Nobel prize winners, athletes, and celebrities, she knew she always wanted to be one of them but being from the little Yarringstowne, nobody knew this place. How was she to be famous in a place that’s barely on the map? When she heard that Mayor Paula had been kidnapped, she saw this as her opportunity to be famous, as small of an opportunity as it was. Word passed around in town that whoever could find Mayor Paula would be heavily compensated. When she read the newspaper, it said that the last place he was before he was kidnapped was the rival town, Sharpson. Now these two towns have been battling with each other …show more content…
“No, Gerald I can’t leave you. You can’t fight them all off, there’s more of them than you!” said Tenley.
“No, Tenley. I want you to achieve your dreams of famous, though it may be in a small town. I know that you the fame,”
“But Gerald, what about your house?”
“Doing good is worth more than any house I get, now go!” So Tenley went off with Mayor Paula, until they got to Tenley’s house. When they got to her house they called the police immediately. The police went to Mayor Gideon’s office and arrested the Mayor and militiamen. The police came to escort Mayor Paula and Tenley back to Yarringstowne, but before they went Tenley wanted to know where Gerald was.
“Excuse me sir, have you seen my friend Gerald?” inquired Tenley.
“Sorry ma’am, but he was beaten to death by the militiamen,” said the police officer Tenley totally broke down. She wept bitterly.
“What’s the point of being famous for doing something amazing if I must suffer such an insidious pain of losing such brilliant person? Was this really worth it?” complained Tenley.
“Tenley, it was all for a good cause. So that you can tell his story and celebrate the amazing thing that he has done. He will be apart of your fame,” said Mayor
