The Canadian Press

Bronx, N.Y.—Sixteen year old, Andy Finley, was brutally murdered yesterday night. This incident took place in a dark alley near Alfredo’s, a regular teen hangout. Andy, a royal, was murdered around 11:30 p.m., and found at midnight by his girlfriend, Laura Smith.

Andy had been gashed by a knife just below his rib cage. The blade had been drawn across his body. His abdomen was severely damaged.

A camera had caught a boy running away from the crime scene minutes after the assault. The assailant was tall, dark, and was wearing a gold Guardian jacket. He has been identified as Lewis Andrews, a 21 year old student at the community college. He has been arrested and sentenced to 40 years in prison.

“It was just a ramble. I hadn’t meant to kill him. I didn’t even know who he was.” cried the assassin, while being hauled into a police car.

“Andy was bleeding heavily and couldn’t move!” an anonymous eyewitness told us, “We didn’t want to get involved because he was a Royal.”

“We were going to move out of town when we grew up. This wasn’t supposed to happen. He wasn’t supposed to die. He was supposed to be safe with the Royals.” Laura, 15, said in tears

Andy’s parents at the funeral, along with other relatives and friends.

A lot of irritated Royals came to the funeral for Andy Finley, which took place this morning. His parents, who were also at the funeral, were shocked by their sons’ unpredicted death and were in denial. Laura and her family, along with other families and friends had attended the funeral.

We were in the club, dancing, when Andy left to buy a smoke. He disappeared after that. Laura went to look for him and found him viciously wounded in the alley.” a friend who had been with the couple at the dance club, told us at the funeral.

In the introductory paragraphs, Andy portrays himself as hopeless when he lay helplessly in the alley. He lay on the pavement, trying to scream for help as he gasps for air, but could not. The author then states: “He lay bleeding and wishing he could cry for help, but there was no voice in his throat” (Hunter 99). The quote proves that Andy is hopeless because he could not even seem to do something as simple as cry for help.…

He considered everything that had happened in the last few minutes. She acknowledged the queen's viscous humor and intention to keep things as they are. Yet he didn't believe that really mattered to her. Her stated belief that pain didn't matter was a clear expression that and more of her numbness to the horrors she'd been exposed to. He'd told her about his friend and she'd asked the boy's name. His breath caught. He looked at her and said, “Though I have not said his name aloud in all these years in memorium of our friendship. I think he'd understand this situation and approve. His name was Marco and he was nine. He was just a boy from the village and so my grandfather saw only a commoner. I've long since come to scorn that mentality though. For years after I reach my majority I looked for him and never found him. Though with the slave trade being what it is, I suppose that's to be expected.…
