Why George Washington Won The First Revolutionary War?
1776 war was the first step that will shake the great British Empire, that war redefined the whole world. George Washington a tobacco farmer who didn’t seen as a worthy opponent by the British led the first revolutionary war that led to the independence of the thirteen colonies from Great Britain and the born of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Even though this war had a very unpromising and bad start for the colonial army George Washington was able to turn the table around and win this war against the great unbeatable British army that was led by general Howe and his brother along with help from paid German troops called the “Hessians”. Washington army was losing and most of the people around him started losing hope in him and started to think that it’s a lost cause, till Christmas night 1776 when Washington came up with a plan to attack the Hessians and that was the first victory for the colonial army. Later on the Americans were able to convince the French to join their side which helped the colonial army a lot, the French came to fight along the colonial army bring their canons and heavy weapons, weapons that the colonial had a very limited access to since the beginning of the war while the British army had a big numbers of these
